Broke Down is a new terrestrial and internet radio station in Philadelphia, PA.
We broadcast on air at 1650 AM, and online at broke-down.org.

II.
Broke Down is seeking collaborators. Be it ongoing, recurring programming or one-off transmission events. We are looking for artists and DJs working with sound in any possible way, and willing to explore and expand the form of a traditional “radio show”. That being said, if you want to “do a guest mix” or “have a show every Thursday from 2-4pm”, we want you to do that.

III.
Broke Down is intermittent and itinerant. We broadcast on-location from concerts, galleries, markets, parties, temporary studios, etc. We broadcast as opportunities arise for whatever duration is appropriate. While we do maintain a web stream, we are particularly interested in projects that foreground the hyperlocal nature of low-power radio.
